In collaboration with the creative team at Studio PlusOne, I designed the mascot for Indicus, a brand rooted in the idea of being proudly indigenous. The name “Indicus” draws inspiration from Bos Taurus Indicus—the scientific name for the Indian humped cattle—symbolizing strength, resilience, and a deep connection to Indian heritage.

The mascot, inspired by the Indian bull, was developed as a dynamic character featured across the brand’s identity and product packaging. It is shown in various expressive postures, each reflecting the qualities of specific paints or product categories—from durability and smoothness to vibrancy and ease of application.

The goal was to create a memorable, culturally resonant mascot that could effectively communicate product benefits while also strengthening the brand’s story and relatability in the Indian market.
